A Meeting at the Shea Field Naval Aviation Historical Museum

ANA Patriot Squadron members meet at 11:00 AM in the Shea Field Naval Aviation Historical Museum spaces in the former U.S. Navy Shea Fitness Center building at the SouthField development on former NAS South Weymouth in Weymouth, MA and other locations.  These monthly meetings are also occasionally held on weeknights after 5:30 PM to accommodate members who work during the day. After the meeting, participating members typically gather to have lunch or dinner together (depending upon the meeting time) at various restaurants in the Boston area.

Regular membership activities include luncheons, BBQs, outings to local military air shows, lectures and presentations on naval and aviation subject matter, and routine maintenance activities (grass mowing, leaf-raking, painting, etc.) for the Shea Memorial Grove and the Shea Field Naval Aviation Historical Museum. The group also holds an annual holiday party each December. Membership provides opportunities to meet and socialize with veterans of WW2, Korea, Vietnam, the Cold War, Desert Storm, and the War on Terror as well as with local military historians and authors.
