ANA Patriot Squadron members meet at 11:00 AM in the Shea Field Naval Aviation Historical Museum spaces in the former U.S. Navy Shea Fitness Center building at the SouthField development on former NAS South Weymouth in Weymouth, MA. These monthly meetings are normally held on the last Saturday of the month. After the meeting, participating members typically gather to have lunch together at a local restaurant.
The Shea Field Naval Aviation Historical Museum is normally open between 9 AM and 11 AM on the last Saturday of every month.
Regular membership activities include luncheons, BBQs, outings to local military air shows, lectures and presentations on naval and aviation subject matter, and routine maintenance activities (grass mowing, leaf-raking, painting, etc.) for the Shea Memorial Grove and the Shea Field Naval Aviation Historical Museum. The group also holds an annual holiday party each December. Membership provides opportunities to meet and socialize with veterans of WW2, Korea, Vietnam, the Cold War, Desert Storm, and the War on Terror as well as with local military historians and authors.
